Dentures
A denture replaces several teeth or all of them. It is partial if you keep some of your teeth, and full if you don't.
The dentist explains the options for your mouth and what each step costs before taking the impressions.

What happens at the visit
It usually takes three to five visits, plus any adjustments you need.

Step 1: We talk and look
We look at your mouth and what you expect from the denture.
- 02
Step 2: We take impressions
The impressions are used to make the denture to fit.
- 03
Step 3: The fitting
You see and try the denture before it's the final one.

Step 4: Delivery and adjustments
We place it and adjust it until it's comfortable.
Good to know
Comfort
A denture feels strange at first, and adjustments are part of the process. If teeth need to come out first, we numb the area.
Alternatives, and what if you wait
There are other ways to replace teeth, such as a bridge. Other offices place implants; if you're interested, the dentist explains. Waiting can let your remaining teeth shift.
Risks and after-care
In the first weeks you can get sore spots and notice changes in how you speak and eat. Adjustments are for that. A denture needs cleaning every day and checkups.
How it's billed
It's billed in stages. Before we start, you get the fee for each stage in writing.

Questions about this service
How long does it take?
It's usually three to five visits spread over several weeks. The dentist gives you a schedule at your first visit.
Can you fix a denture I already have?
Sometimes. Bring it in and the dentist tells you whether it can be adjusted or repaired, or if a new one makes sense.
How do I care for it?
It's cleaned every day and kept in water or a denture solution overnight. The dentist explains how to care for yours.
